Life Kids Semester 1

Well, the Life Kids team is all pumped up for Semester 2! This Sunday will definitely be awesome - what with learning about 'our identity in God' and The Lion King. Semester 1 for the children was simply awesome. The kids learnt about the life of Jesus and danced 'Royalty' and 'Let Your Light Shine' (Hillsong Kids) to perfection. Not to mention - the leaders were great, committed and fun to work with. Several favourites from semester 1.

Celebrating 33 Years

Uncle TH (aka Dr. Goh) celebrated 33 years of service as a consultant paediatric cardiologist at the Royal Children's Hospital last Saturday. About 500 patients and parents turned up to support him as he retires from public service. Patients shared about Uncle TH, how he has changed their lives physically, as well as the extra mile he goes to accomodate them emotionally and spiritually. The afternoon celebrated a great career, but more importantly a greater man who serves the greatest God.

This was ages ago... but I finally got around to editting the photos. We brought the kids bowling at Highpoint to start off their holidays (18th June). Several of the older kids were disturbingly good.

At Life* Expedition - we have two new gorgeous additions this year. Children are difficult to photograph because they move unexpectedly and quickly. Two favourite photographs I took this semester.

Nothing beats a night of great food, fine wine and jazz. Hardware Lane in Melbourne boasts reasonable food over live jazz Friday and Saturday nights weekly. Expensive but unbeatable ambience.

Baptism 26th June 2006

It was great to hear these guys share their life journey. Even more amazing to share time where they reconfirmed their faith in our Lord Jesus Christ! I am not too sure many of them would like to share (with the world) how they look like when they are most vulnerable (or just simply wet!!) So we'll leave it with these photos for the time being!
